India and Russia: Views on Alternative World Orders, Regional Problems and Bilateral Ties. A Russian-Indian Conference

The first Valdai Club Russia-India conference, organised jointly with the Club’spartner, the Vivekananda Foundation, was held on January 8 in New Delhi (at the headquarters of the  Vivekananda International Foundation at 3 San Martin Marg, Chanakyapuri).

Holding the conference in India is a qualitatively new stage in the Valdai Club’s work with the country. It was preceded by the signing on October 1, 2023 of a memorandum of understanding with the Vivekananda Foundation on the sidelines of the 20th Annual Meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club. Several experts from India have already been regular guests and participants in Valdai Club events, and Valdai Club experts from Russia have taken part in the traditional forums in India. Now, for the first time as an organisation, the Club visited its partners from the Vivekananda Foundation.
