Trumpism Can Restructure the United States’ Political System

Donald Trump’s coming to power is an expression of the systemic crisis that hit the American bipartisan system. Trumpism is unstable and torn by contradictions, but its rapid disintegration is unlikely. These are the conclusions of the participants in the presentation of the Valdai Club report, titled "Global Rightist Revolt: Trumpism and its Foundations", which took place at the Valdai Club Conference Hall in Moscow on September 13.

On September 13, at 11:00, the Valdai Discussion Club will hold a presentation of the new report, titled "Global 'Rightist Revolt': Trumpism and Its Foundations." The report pays special attention to the problem of the social stability of Trumpism: was it only a one-time outbreak or is it a long-term phenomenon that can change the social base of US policy in the next election cycles?
