Non-resident research fellow with the China-CEE Institute, established by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in Budapest, and participant of the Valdai – New Generation project. After graduating from East European Studies, received a PhD in History at Charles University, Prague. His dissertation researched Soviet perestroika and its links to China’s reforms and was partially published by Routledge. Collaborated with the Parliamentary Institute of the Czech Parliament and the Czech Academy of Sciences. In 2025, he was an InteRussia fellow at the Institute for International Studies, MGIMO University.
Specialises in the current transformation of the international order, transition to multipolarity, liberal authoritarianism in the West, Soviet perestroika and China’s reforms, Sino-Russian and Sino-European relations, and Russian political thought. Was hosted by the China Institute for International Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Hungarian Institute of International Affairs, Moscow State Institute of International Relations, Serbian Institute of International Politics and Economics, Russian Academy of Sciences, and the University of Hong Kong.
Aside from the academic field, also worked as a financial advisor with SAB servis, Czechia’s fastest-growing broker company, having accreditation from the European Financial Planning Association. Contributed to China Daily, China Radio International, Guangming Daily, Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Sputnik, and several Czech outlets.
